Great family environment with outdoor seating.

Brian Stephen, cooks a mean Camarones de fra Diablo, and a California burrito, and great top shelf margaritas.

Food was nothing special and its pretty mediocre overall, but the prices are great especially for college kids that are on a budget in a college town. They could also do some updating and remodeling on the inside and on the outside.

Great service, food and drinks! We will go back again If you like Mexican ho try it out.

La Salsa is definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in Carrollton. Everything here is delicious!

The food is good albeit typical for Mexican restaurants in the area. The seafood burrito is one of the better ones in town. Our service was really slow on this visit but we had a large party. Overall this visit reinforced our experience that La Salsa continues to consistently provide good food and decent service.

I love going there on Friday nights with my girlfriends! We always have fun!

Usually good but new years it was terrible. Very disappointing.

La Salsa has gone down in service and quality over the past 3 years of management and leadership. Tonight this was apparent to the degree that we will not return to their establishment as a Carrollton business. We received multiple wrong orders being told continuously that we had ordered incorrectly. This was after trying to communicate many times with the server to ensure the correct order. The management chose to ignore this and to instead accuse the customer of being difficult. I could review more, but this local restaurant isn’t worth my time or yours.

Amazing food for a great price

Great Mexican Diner to for my husband and I to do date night. Reasonable prices for authentic Mexican dishes. Can be crowded inside but they have an outdoor patio with ample space. Slowly becoming one of my favorit places.

It's good food with a quaint atmosphere. Don't expect anything groundbreaking or even memorable, but for a full belly and a typical Mexican food experience this place will work.

Had one green chicken enchilada for supper. It was light and delicious!

Our table was dirty, the window beside it was splattered with what looked like toothpaste, couldn't get a server to the table, ladies room was filthy.

Besides having only 1 handicap parking spot they still deserve 5 STARS.. excellent food choices.. Fast friendly service and well priced.. The internet decoration gave it a Mexican atmosphere.. I'll be returning soon.. 😍

Their service is hit and miss - they almost ALWAYS mess up something on my to go order. Most times the food is really good - sometimes it is just "ok". It would be a better eating of they were consistent and made sure their to go orders were right.

Very welcoming and conversational. The food was delicious with that price range. Highly recommended to visit here.

I hope you got your bail money ready cause if you don't like your food, you may end up in jail. Either pay for food that is not what you ordered or is not to your liking or they'll call the police on you.

I have not had a bad experience here. The food is great and the salsa is a little spicy. What I like most is they don't over load everything with cilantro since I am one of the few people who doesn't like it. The portions are large. I usually have leftovers when I leave.

greatly enjoyed first visit.. ordered fajitas for 2 for less than $20.00.. large portions and great taste..the menu states that the first basket of chips is free for each table.. there is a charge for additional baskets..

This place is horrible food was just ok but the main thing was the margaritas they attempted to serve me a rotten margarita and when I refused to pay for it mind you I had only took one sip and immediately noticed it was sour like it had been out all night. Then their manager called the police on me because I refused to pay for the spoiled drink. The cops came and agreed with and did I mention the margarita was brown yeah brown like dirty mop water. I will never return to this place ever again.

Scammers and rude staff . Everyone in my 15+ party 18% gratuity was wrong. When I asked the cashier first he said it was a bad calculator and was rude to me. Then I asked my server she pushed me out the way and ignored me . I asked to speak to the manager and the server came back up and threw two dollars at me and called me broke girl repeatedly. The manager did not correct her and said that behavior is acceptable because she was “busy”. Be safe when you go there!!! they try to add money to your check when you are drunk hoping you don’t notice.

Ordered #40, the 3 enchilada's as an entree and the creamy guacamole for an appetizer. The guacamole was very smooth, perfect for mixing with salsa or alone with chips. The enchilada's were hot, served with lettuce, diced tomatoes and sour cream. No rice or beans with this selection, which was fine for me. It's a casual place, shorts or jeans is fine. The service was fast and pleasant. Great for lunch or casual night out.

Our waitress was super kind and helpful. She was number 8 on Saturday 3/16. Her name escaped me. She made joyful compliments about her pregnancy. What knocks stars off is the new complimentary chips rule. A table only gets one basket and has to pay 1.75 for another. Now they have incredible specials which can make up for that but chips and salsa are a go to must.

Disappointed, over the past 2 years this restaurant has gone down in quality. This includes food,cleanliness, and overall service. I wouldn’t recommend it. Servers seemed disinterested and unfriendly as well.
